Award from convenience-store chain recognizes best-in-class partners

7-Eleven named energy drink Celsius its 2023 7-Eleven Supplier of the Year, Nonalcohol, at its recent 7-Eleven Experience 2024 conference in Las Vegas.

The award recognizes “outstanding suppliers for being best-in-class partners, collaborating across sales and marketing and providing premium products that add value to the consumer experience,” said Boca Raton, Florida-based Celsius.

“For Celsius, receiving the 7-Eleven Supplier of the Year award reflects the great ways our sales and marketing teams listen and collaborate with our retail customers,” Tony Guilfoyle, Celsius executive vice president of North American sales, told CSP. “For us, it’s all about understanding our customers’ needs and operations and using that knowledge to create the best programs, products and services to create the best consumer experience together.”

“We’ve established a high level of synchronicity with our partners at 7-Eleven,” he added. “It’s the best-in-class approach we strive to achieve with all our retail partners.”

  • 7-Eleven is No. 1 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by store count.

Since 2021, Irving, Texas-based 7-Eleven has collaborated with Celsius on several exclusive flavors, including Tropical Vibe in 2021, Mango Passion Fruit in 2022, Green Apple Cherry in 2023 and, currently, Fizz-Free Blue Razz Lemonade, 7-Eleven told CSP.

“Celsius has been a great partner,” 7-Eleven said. “We look forward to continuing to partner with them to bring more unique beverage options to our customers.”

7-Eleven Inc. which just released its first flavored cold brew offerings, operates, franchises or licenses more than 13,000 convenience stores in the United States and Canada.
